The heavy rains over Christmas left everything looking clean and sparkly over the holidays. The air smelled fresh, and the world glistened with tiny raindrops. As I admired the familiar landscape outside my home that suddenly looked new, I was struck with how a tiny shift in perspective can change how we see our lives.
Problems or life issues that feel insurmountable can become manageable if we take the time to look at them with fresh eyes. Eyes that have done the internal work to cause our teardrops to remove the tarnish of old expectations. What a wonderful reminder from nature for the new year.
